Blackberry Beauty Card

The new Blackberry Beauty Designer Series Paper is so beautiful, the rich colours along with the gold accents make it so easy to add to your cards.  It is also easy to add embellishments with the gold tones to make the pieces of DSP pop on your cards.

As I made an angle cut for the DSP on the front of the card I did not want to waste the piece so it became part of the inside of the card!

Paper Lattice

I love the Paper Lattice and found a way to use just a half  piece of the Lattice with one of the amazing Hand Penned Designer Series Papers.  I fussy cut 2 different "flower sprays" that were used to cover the cut ends of the Paper Lattice piece.

I used the flower sprays to determine the colour of my cardstock pieces and embellishments.

New Greenery Die

The Stitched Greenery Die is one of those that I missed on my first, second and third time through the new catalogue!

It is a great background for any card and can be used on any colour cardstock.  For my card today I used the ever so popular Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper with Basic White cardstock.

You can see that the die cut covers the entire front of my card and then I added colour with the DSP circle and the die cut leaves.  The die cut leaves were a little long so I cut off a couple of the leaves to use inside my card!

The Sheer Pool Party ribbon gives a soft colour beside the leaves, and the greeting is stamped with versamark and then add white embossing powder.  The embellishments are retired Candy Dots in Pool Party to match the card base.
