Winterly Tree Tops - Creativity Now Event

Stampin' Up ! held an annual online event for Demonstrators over the weekend called :Creativity Now".

We watched a number of presenters make cards with this new bundle that is coming soon called Winterly Tree Tops.  I was able to pre-order this bundle as a Demonstrator so that I could make the cards along with the presentations.

It was a 4 hour event that was full of fun and lots of information.  We made 4 different cards and I am going to share them all with you over the coming days!  We also had 2 bonus projects to make at home!

We used the new Winterly Tree Bundle. Our supplies were Basic White Cardstock, Mossy Meadow and Smoky Slate cardstock.  We used Blending Brushes to colour the birds and then I added Wink of Stella!

I love how we made the background with lighter and darker shades of ink and blending brushes.

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!

The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as they were designed, or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild. These are the original projects:

For my alternate card project I cut apart the Peach Pie and Summer Splash card bases. I used the Peach Pie for my card front. I also used the pieces from the kit and the Add-On dies.

My card base is Shy Shamrock and I added the Peach Pie piece (5-3/8" x 4-1/8") as a mat to my card front. I used the Thanks & Beyond coordinating dies to cut the greeting in Shy Shamrock, Petal Pink and from the Summer Splash card base. I layered them leaving some of each colour showing at the top.

I also cut 2 of the large shapes from both the Petal Pink and Summer Splash card base.

The extra Summer Splash leaves are cut using the Bough Punch.

Everything else is from the kit!

Team Meet & Greet Simple Card Project

This week I had some of my team members (unfortunately some were unavailable) come to a Meet & Greet and we made a simple project using the New In Colours and one of the new Stamp & Die bundles.

We had a lot of fun discussing the new Online Exclusives that will be available to customers on July 5th.

I also did a demonstration using the Layers of Beauty masks; explaining how to use them to create an amazing card.

These are the cards that they made.  Each one is different in colour and also in the chosen greeting.  Which one is your favourite?

We used the New In Colours (cardstock and inks) plus the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper and Unbounded Love bundle (stamp set and cardstock). The embellishments are the 2024-2026 In Colour Shimmer Gems.

IDEAS Blog Hop - June 2024 - Colour Me Happy

 

IDEAS is a group of International Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who share projects once a month.  This Blog Hop is an introduction to our IDEAS and we look forward to having you visit us monthly.

Country Flowers Sympathy

I was introduced to the new Country Flowers Stamp set and Country Flowers dies when I was at OnStage in Houston in March.  It is definitely one of the most used stamp sets from the new Annual Catalogue.

Here is a card that we made at one of our evening crafting sessions:

Not only did we get to use the stamp set, we also received some of the new In Colour cardstock which we used on this card!  We were able to play with the new In Colour ink pads too!
