PPP Blog Hop - Sweet Sunflowers

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!

The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as they were designed, or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild. On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas with you on how to use the August Paper Pumpkin kit "Sweet Sunflowers".

These are the original projects:

I absolutely love this month's kit. I have so many ideas that I want to try! I am going to cut the cards apart on the fold line and use each as a card front which means I will have so many extra cards.

Here are my two alternate cards.
I cut open an envelope to make the front of both my alternate cards. I also stamped the greetings on the envelope paper and cut them out with a die. I used pieces of one of the gold honeycomb pieces that were included for both my cards. I added pearl embellishments coloured with coordinating Stampin' Blends.

The additional supplies used for my alternate cards will be listed below.

Thank you for joining us as we share with you the possibilities of Paper Pumpkin. Now hop over to my friend Debbi where you will find another great Paper Pumpkin alternate project idea.

Rings of Love Birthday Card

I made this card for a special person on her special birthday.  She also loves the colour red!

I used the Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper that is only available until August 31st, Rings of Love.

The bold colours in the DSP are used as the mat piece and the card base!

In the inside I used one of the gift card holders that was in the Paper Pumpkin kit from the May Paper Pumpkin kit and added the numbers.

The greeting on the front and on the inside are from 2 different stamp sets!  The "Happy Birthday" is stamped in Night of Navy and then I added Clear Embossing Powder and heat set.
