Celebration with Abstract Beauty

The new size Designer Series Paper in the Abstract Beauty Suite is 4"x6" size. The colours, patterns and gold accents are so pretty.  I found this type of Fancy fold card that uses this amazing Designer Series paper and watched the tutorial by stamp it up with Jaimie.

I loved this pattern in the paper pack and then matched my cardstock to the paper and of course added some gold embossing and ribbon.  For the inside I used 2 of the same colours from the Simply Marbelous DSP (from the latest Sale-A-bration brochure - now retired).

Ladybug Window Card

The Ladybug bundle is one of my favourites and you can make so many different cards using the punch as a ladybug or you can make it into a bee!

I found this card that looks like a shaker card but the sequins don't really move around so it is called a window card.  Cased from Lisa Curcio.

The Designer Series Paper used on the card is a Host item #155426  ( a 48 sheet package of  DSP)!  The window is made with 2 pieces of window sheet and you put the sequins in between the layers.

A Bouquet of Tulips!

The Flowering Tulips bundle makes the most amazing 3D tulips.  They look a little daunting at first but you can find many places where they show you the way to compose your tulip flowers.  The accompanying Designer Series Paper has some great colour combinations.

I chose the pattern of DSP that I wanted first and then made my tulips match the colours in the paper.

To add some dimension to the tulips I added ink to the die cut edges of the tulip pieces and the leaf pieces before assembling them.

Thank You!

I have always loved the soft colour combination of pink and gray with a little white added!  I created this Thank You card using this combination of colours.

I cased this card by stampsnlingers, using the Amazing Silhouettes and the coordinating Amazing Thanks dies.

You have do a bit of surgery to the die cut as the die says "thanks" and you need to cut off the "s" for both the background and the letters.  I used adhesive sheets on the back of the work "thank".

The inside of the card uses the butterfly stamp from the stamp set.
