PPP Blog Hop - Sunshine & Smiles

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!

The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as they were designed, or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild. On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas with you on how to use the February Paper Pumpkin kit "Sunshine & Smiles".

Don’t forget! This kit perfectly coordinates with the Rain or Shine Suite Collection (item number: 160556).

These are the original projects:

These are my alternate projects.
The supply list can be found near the bottom of my post.

Card 1 Alternate
For this card I cut 2 of the original card bases apart and attached them together at the fold. (I cut at about 1/2" over the fold of the blue checked card base and attached to the back of the rainbow inside from the pink checked card base). I used the add on Sunshine & Smiles Dies to cut out 3 frogs and 3 of the sets of flowers that I stamped using the stamp set and black memento ink. I coloured them with Stampin' Blends before adding to my card. All the other pieces are from the kit and stamp set.

Card 2 Alternate
For this card I used the coordinating Suite of products. I used the Rain or Shine Specialty Designer Series Paper for the card front and then again for the 1/2" strips. The stamp set, label and bunny were used from the kit. The embellishments are also from the coordinating Rain or Shine Suite .

Farewell to 2023 Sale-A-Bration

Today is the last day of Sale-A-Bration!

I am sharing a team swap card that I received from one of my team members again using the "Thanks A Bunch stamp set!  She also used the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper.  It is such a great package of DSP that has 48 sheets of paper (4 each of 12 double sided designs)!  The colours are Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral, Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody and Petal Pink.

Didn't she do a great job!

Scenic Garden

The stamp set Scenic Garden is one of the sets in the Sale-A-Bration flyer that is a HOST set.  This means that with a qualifying party order you receive this stamp set for free!

It has some great images that can be stamped on DSP and coloured with Stampin' Blends or today I stamped the image onto a piece of Basic White cardstock and coloured it with Stampin' Blends.  Then I used the masking paper and restamped the image, cut it out with my snips and covered over the original image.

Then I could add the gravel image around the pot of flowers!  I made this one into a birthday card!

I left the inside plain with a stripe of Starry Sky coloured Designer Series Paper on the side so that I can personalize this card.

Texture Chic Card

This card was one that my All Occasion card class attendees made.  It features the Texture Chic Card from the Annual Catalogue.  I think I love everything about this Suite but my card today features the Designer Series Paper.  Simple but elegant and to the point.
