PPP Blog Hop - So Cool

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!

The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as they were designed, or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild. On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas with you on how to use the April Paper Pumpkin kit: "So Cool".

These are the original projects:

Details

  • Kit includes enough supplies to make 12 fresh, fun-shaped cards—6 popsicles and 6 blank semicircles to color—and coordinating envelopes. Kit includes card bases, 2 full sticker sheets, decorative die-cut pieces, embellishments, and more.
  • Envelope size: 4-1/2" x 5-3/4" (11.4 x 14.6 cm)
  • Coordinating colors: Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay, Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Old Olive, Terracotta Tile
  • Coordinates with the Ice Cream Corner Suite from our January–June 2021 Mini Catalog.

These are my alternate projects:

Card 1

This card is a shaker card. I used the Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles for the inside of the shaker. I used the kit stamp set, watercolour paper, and water coloured the stamped image.

Card 2

This card is made using the inside of the envelope, the kit stamp set, and the sticker sheet.

  • The supplies used for my alternate cards will be listed at the bottom.

  • Thank you for joining us as we share with you the possibilities of Paper Pumpkin.
Now hop over to June's blog where you will find another great Paper Pumpkin alternate project idea!

  • Don't miss the May Paper Pumpkin kit!

    Tasteful Touches Card

The Tasteful Touches Designer Series Paper is returning in the new Annual Catalogue that is going live on May 4th.  That is a pretty uncommon thing for Stampin'Up! to have Designers Series Paper carry over from one catalogue to another!

I often struggle with Masculine type cards and this paper makes it easier to make a card have more of a masculine feel.  I really like this tweed pattern of the DSP.

This is a Pocket Fold Card that is closed with a belly band.  There is a pocket inside that has an insert for you to write a message on.  You could also add a gift card into the pocket.

    Forever Greenery Slimline card

I have only made a few of the new popular Slimline cards.  I have used the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper as the focal point for this card.  This card uses many of the items that are on the retiring list.

Items that are retiring include: the Gold Hoops, Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper, Forever Gold Laser Cut Specialty Paper, Forever Greenery Trim and the stamp set I used for the greeting (Happy Thoughts). While supplies last these items are available on the Last Chance List.  Visit my online store by using this link

This is the inside of the card with space to stamp another greeting and space to write in.
