PPP Blog Hop No Matter the Weather

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop! The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as they were designed, or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild.
On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas with you on how to use the
March Paper Pumpkin kit: "No Matter the Weather".

With the current health crisis around the world I think the title
of this month's kit is very appropriate!

These are the original cards:

Kit contains supplies for 12 cards and envelopes (4 cards of 3 designs)
Notecard size: 5" x 3-1/2" (12.7 x 8.9 cm)
Envelope size: 5-1/8" x 3-5/8" (13 x 9.2 cm)
Coordinating Colors: Balmy Blue, Basic Gray, Calypso Coral, Grapefruit Grove, Gray Granite, Pear Pizzazz, Petal Pink, Shaded Spruce, and So Saffron

This is my alternate project:

I made a card using one of the card fronts which I matted onto Balmy Blue and then added a Basic Gray card base.

I used the stamp set that came with the kit and also the Bonus free stamp set plus some of the pieces from the kit.  I stamped the images I wanted onto the back of the card that I cut apart.

The stamp set that is included with the kit and the free stamp set:

The supplies for my projects are listed below.

Thank you for joining us as we share with you the possiblities of Paper Pumpkin. Now hop over to Charmane where you are sure to find a great Paper Pumpkin alternate project idea!

Happy Spring

Last week was the first day of spring!  While some of you may be having nice days with some of the spring flowers peaking up through the ground....we don't as we still have snow!

Here is a little interesting note about spring this year!

In 2020, the spring equinox (also called the March equinox or vernal equinox) occured on Thursday, March 19, which is earlier than it’s been in over a century! This event marks the astronomical first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere.

For much of the last century, the spring equinox has occurred on March 20 or 21. This year, however, the equinox happens on the 19th , making it the earliest spring we’ll have seen in our lives (so far). The last time spring arrived this early was in 1896—a whopping 124 years ago!

My spring card shows rain so I am just hoping that may come soon to wash away all of our snow!

I used the Pleased as Punch DSP which is a Coordination Product Release item that is only available until March 31st.  Don't miss out.....place your order today!

I used the retired Artisan Pearls (Petal Pink, Rich Razzleberry, So Saffron, Tranquil Tide) and coloured another small pearl with the Balmy Blue Light Blend.  The word "Spring" is from the Fable Friends stamp set.
