Hello and Welcome to the Inspire, Create & Share Blog Hop for March.
Thanks for joining us.
The theme for March is "One Stamp Set so Many Uses".
This is our final month of Sale-A-Bration and I have chosen to showcase the Tags In Bloom stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration second release brochure, available March 3-31.
I have created 3 cards using this set: one for a Beginner stamper, one for a Casual stamper and one for an Avid stamper.
A Beginner Stamper is someone new to stamping who has limited supplies and likes basic stamping with simple designs. I used cardstock and stamped the images directly onto the cardstock layer.
I also used the Layered with Kindness stamp set (from the Mini catalogue) as it coordinates with the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Tags in Bloom.
A Casual Stamper occasionally creates and makes cards for special events. They often use more stamping, add some embossing, use punches, ribbon and/or embellishments. I added some extra layers with the So Very Vellum DSP (a new Sale-A-Bration product), a small piece of cardstock that is embossed, and used some dies, a punch and added ribbon and pearls.
An Avid Stamper is someone who stamps often and has a selection of products to choose from. They like new ideas, products and techniques. I used many layers on my card front (5), added texture with embossing, used various dies, added ribbon and embellishments.
The pearl embellishments were coloured with Stampin' Blends in the coordinating colours of my cardstock (Dark Soft Seafoam, Dark Pool Party and Dark Purple Posy). On my Avid card the White Crinkled Seam Binding was coloured with the Dark Purple Posy Stampin Blend. The scallop ribbon edge at the top and bottom of the white embossed piece is a piece of Purple Posy Scalloped Linen ribbon cut in half and added to the back.
The Purple Posy stamp pad is no longer available so I used the Purple Posy Stampin Write Marker to colour my stamp with colour before stamping the image.
