ICS Blog Hop - June 2025 - It's A Guy Thing!

 

 

For the month of June, we are showcasing projects for Males (the guys in our lives!)  It can be a card, 3D project, scrapbook page as long as it is fits the theme.

For my project I am sharing a card made for my son for Father's Day!  He is the most amazing Dad to our adorable 5 year old grandson and we got to go and visit them over the past long weekend.  I left the card there for him to open on Father's Day on June 14th!

IDEAS - June 2025 - Colour Me Happy

 

IDEAS is a group of International Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who share projects once a month.  This Blog Hop is an introduction to our IDEAS and we look forward to having you visit us monthly.

For the month of June 2025 the theme is "Colour Me Happy!".  We are to create a card with a fun colour combination.  The New In Colours can be used but it is not requirement.  

This is a snippet of my project:

PPP Blog Hop- May 2025 Mountain Majesties

 

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop! 

 

The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can follow the direction provided in the kit to make the projects as they were designed, or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild!  On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas with you on how to use the May Paper Pumpkin kit "Mountain Majesties".

These are the original projects: 

This kit makes 9 cards with coordinating envelopes.  The coordinating colours are Basic Black, Lost Lagoon, Misty Moonlight, Mossy Meadow, Pecan Pie and Petal Pink.

The Add-On dies, "Hugs Abloom" coordinate with this kit. (#166238)

I have to admit that I struggled for a while trying to decide on alternate projects.  I cut the front of one of the card bases in half for one of my cards, and I used one of the envelopes for my other card front with the coordinating dies. 

These are my alternate projects:

Card 1 Front

Card 1 Inside

For this fancy fold card I cut a card front in half.  Used the envelope for one of my panels and Cloud Cover for the other panel.  When the card is folded it shows the front scene on the card front.

Card 2 Front

Card 2 Inside

For this card I used the "Hugs Abloom" dies to die cut coordinating pieces of cardstock.  The strip behind the greeting and at the bottom in the inside is cut from one of the pop out pieces in the kit!  The greeting is stamped onto a piece of the cut up envelope.
