Flowing Flowers - Just a Note

The Flowing Flowers stamp set is a Distinktive stamp set.  That means that you will get different shades of the ink that you are using to stamp with.  It gives depth to your image.  In other words it does most of the work for you!

I made a card that has a front flap that you open to write your message on in the inside.  

I found it easier to add the colour to my stamp with Sponge Daubers so that I could add all the colours to the stamp before stamping it onto my cardstock.

Symbols of Fortune DSP

One of our Suites in the Mini Catalogue that was not on my radar was the Symbols of Fortune, however I love the coordinating Designer Series paper,  Today I will share a birthday card that can be sent to anyone on your list.

I happened to have scraps of the Brushed Metallic foil paper that I used on the card front. I left lots of space for you to write a note to the person receiving the card.  Love my "Tailor Made Tag dies" to create a great background for the greeting. Also used twine in the coordinating card colours.

ICS Blog Hop - Ladybug Bundle

I have chosen to use the Hello Ladybug Bundle (#157699) for my card project.  The only thing is that the ladybugs have been turned into bees!  I made my bees using the punch.  Basic Black cardstock for the bodies with Bumblebee cardstock strips attached with adhesive and 2 vellum layers for the wings.

Daffodil Afternoon DSP

One of the Sale-A-Bration items (that ended February 28th) was the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper pack.   It had such great patterns that you could use for the fronts of cards.  Really made your card feel like Spring and Easter! 

I cut my piece of DSP at 4" x 5-1/4" and added a corresponding colour mat cut at 4-1/8" x 5-3/8". You could use any of the colours found in the image.  Isn't it pretty?

I did more work for the inside using the Daffodil Dies!

This coordinates with the Daffodil Daydream stamp set.  The Daffodil Dies and the stamp set are sold as a bundle (#157795).
