My great niece recently celebrated her 6th birthday.  I wanted to make something fun and colourful for her.  I had some of this amazing Designer Series Paper sitting beside my desk so I decided to use this for her card.

Once you slide the ribbon off the card it will open up from the middle and this is the inside of the card.

IDEAS Blog Hop - June 2023 - Pansy Patch

 

IDEAS is a group of International Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who share projects once a month.  This Blog Hop is an introduction to our IDEAS and we look forward to having you visit us monthly.

Happy Retirement

A woman that works with my husband has just retired after 27+ years.  I made this card for him to give to her on her last day of work which was the end of May.  This type of card is called a Diamond Fold.

I used the retired Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper as I love the flower images that I fussy cut from the paper.

It is hard to find sentiments for retirement, so I have a retired set in my stash called Congrats and I also used Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Baby Shower card

My niece is expecting her first baby, a girl, later this summer.  Her sister had a baby shower for her as some of us were together for the weekend.

Here is the card and gift card holder that I created for her.  I used many of my retired baby sets for this project.

I have used new colours of cardstock; Bubble Bath and Fresh Freesia as well as the Bright and Beautiful Designer Series Paper and the corresponding ink pads.
