Our youngest son and his wife are celebrating their 6th Wedding Anniversary this Sunday and I made this card specially for them. Their wedding colours were a dark blue and so this is made using their colours.
I did use a set that is retired for the greeting as there are just some sets that I keep as I love the fonts and the sentiments and this one is no exception.
I used my sponge daubers to add the colour under the sunflower starting with the darkest and going to the lightest colour around the edges. I also added some ink to the flower tips. The little flecks of colour are made using my Stampin Write markers (in the same colours as my card stock) and flicking the tip against the cover to get the little flecks. There is Wink of Stella on the centre of the flower and the centre of the die cut (hard to see on the white cardstock!)
