Welcome to the Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop for August 2023! This month our theme is "Technique Showcase."
We are all sharing a technique as part of our card project. I have chosen to use embossing paste.
Here is my project:
For this card I made my mat background using embossing paste! I cut a piece of basic white cardstock and added a layer of embossing paste covering the whole front of the cardstock. Then I added Garden Green ink to the complete inside of the rough side of the embossing folder (the side without the Stampin'Up! logo). I placed my piece of cardstock onto the silicon mat with the embossing paste up and then pushed the ink side of the embossing folder into the paste. I gently rubbed to make sure that the colour and texture was transferred to the embossing paste. Then I slowly removed the folder and left the piece to dry overnight. Make sure to clean the embossing folder immediately!
This made my jungle background for my card front.
This is the inside with a small piece of the mat that I trimmed off.
The Supply list for my project is listed below.
