Have you tried the Decorative Masks? There are 2 of them in the New Annual Catalogue, plus there is one in the New Online Exclusives. They make a great way to add different shades of colour to your project. You can use the coordinating stamp set or not and it still looks great.
This is the Layer of Beauty Decorative Mask ( there are 5 layers to this one!)
I stamped the image onto my piece of Basic White cardstock and then stamped the image with Gray Granite ink. Added my colour with the 5 masks and this is what I ended up with...so pretty!
Inside the card uses an image from the stamp set.
