Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!
The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as they were designed, or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild. On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas with you on how to use the December Paper Pumpkin kit "Notes From the Heart".
These are the original projects:
This kit has a wonderful stamp set that contains greetings for the cards in the kit. There are 8 different greetings. The kit makes 9 cards with envelopes (3 of each design).
I took one of the card fronts and cut it in half on the score line. I then adjusted the size to 4" x 5-1/4" for my card front. (Did some surgery in the length so that I still had the scallop edge on the right side!). I then took one of the images and cut the image apart leaving me two different images. I die cut some Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and used the scrap edges on the vellum to cut the fern from the Merry Tags & More Dies.
These are my two alternate cards:
Card 1
I used the negative of the vellum leaves to add the leaf pattern to the card front. I used both Old Olive and Mossy Meadow ink.
I used the Fern Embossing Folder to the card front and then added both Old Olive and Mossy Meadow ink with a Blending Brush.
The inside is the same in both cards.
