Shaded Spruce Perfectly Plaid Christmas Card

This is a Christmas Card that I made using  one of the new bundles from the new Holiday Catalogue.
The colour that I chose to focus on was Shaded Spruce.

The Wrapped in Plaid Suite has a bundle that includes a stamp set and coordinating punch (tree shape) - Perfectly Plaid.  There is also an absolutely gorgeous coordinating 6x6  Specialty Designer Series Paper pack, and I used one of the Shaded Spruce pieces.

To give more texture to my card I used the stitched dies to cut both rectangle and circle shapes.

These are the elements added to the front of the card.
The "Merry Christmas" was stamped more to the left so that I could add my jingle bell embellishment.

Fall card with copper accents

Another Fall card using the Copper Foil paper for accents.  I also used the Copper Delicata ink pad. It takes a bit longer to dry so make sure to leave some extra time or try to gently dry the ink with a heat gun.

I saw this online somewhere and I apologize that I have searched the post and cannot give credit to the designer.  I changed it up and added the Copper Trim in the top left corner.  To save foil paper make sure to cut out the sprig punch x 4 and your Apple/Pumpkin punch before you assemble your card!

Fall Beauty & Joy

My fall themed card using the set Beauty and Joy from the Occasions Holiday catalogue.  I just love the Distinktive stamps.  Used Merry Merlot for my background and some of the fall DSP!

To make my leaves many different colours I inked up in the lightest colour and then added other fall coloured ink with sponge daubers.

Lest We Forget

Today is Remembrance Day..

Canadians recognize Remembrance Day, originally called Armistice Day, every 11 November at 11 a.m. It marks the end of hostilities during the First World War and an opportunity to recall all those who have served in the nation’s defence.

ICS Blog Hop - Perfectly Plaid

Hello and Welcome to the Inspire, Create & Share Blog Hop for November.
Thanks for joining us
The theme for November is "Monochromatic".

I chose to make a Monochromatic Christmas Card using one of the new bundles from the Holiday Catalogue.
Monochromatic means containing or using one colour.  My colour choice was Garden Green.

The Wrapped in Plaid Suite has a bundle stamp set and coordinating punch (tree shape).  Used a Holiday DSP plus ribbon and embellishments.  This is my creation!

To give more texture to a monochromatic card I used the stitched dies to cut the Garden Green rectangle shape.

I hope you enjoy our "Monochromatic" themed projects and that you will find inspiration from them.  Then you can create and share your creations with friends and family!

For the month of November the theme is "Holiday Decor" and I have made a Christmas 3D item.

This is my project:

Each square represents one of the 12 tutorials offered by our global team of demonstrators.  There are lots of home decor projects, gift packaging, and a few cards this month.  You will love it!

Each tutorial features at least one card and one project, some include multiples. Would you like a copy of the instructions for these projects to use for your personal use, or even to use in your classes? Contact me to find out how to purchase the tutorial bundle (which includes all of the tutorials you see in this blog hop) or earn it for FREE by placing a qualifying order!  My email is :elizabethmayames@gmail.com

Once you have received the tutorials, please remember not to share or distribute the printed or electronic copies of these bundles. We have worked hard to provide these exclusive projects for your use. If you know someone that would like to purchase the bundle, please direct them to me to obtain their copy.
