Dog & Cat Card

Today I am sharing another card from the Playful Pets Suite.  I have enjoyed creating with the bundle and I am sure that I will be making more projects as time passes.

I have been thinking about starting to make my Christmas Cards.....it is only 5 months away!..
Just wanted to let you know that the new Holiday Catalogue will be live on August 4th.  If you have not got a copy of the catalogue please contact me and I can get one to you!

Today's card has only one stamped image, the greeting.  I stamped in versamark, then black ink and then quickly added clear embossing powder.  Heat set and you have a embossed greeting!  All the other items are die cut!  I love the foot prints that are at the top and so easy using the die.

Forever Fern

The Designer Series paper choices in the new Annual Catalogue are really great.  The imagery is just so bold and the colours are so vivid.  One of my favourite choices is the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper.

My card today uses the DSP as my focal point for the front layer of my card.  It doesn't need too much more added as it would take away from the beautiful images.  All I needed to add was a bit of bling, and a sentiment.

The coordinating Forever Gold Laser Specialty paper has some great pieces and I just cut one down to use as the embellishment for this card,  added some gold twine, ribbon and a small greeting.

Still Sharing Sunshine!

I am still finding ways to Share Sunshine using my June Paper Pumpkin kit!

These were the bags I made for my grandaughters! I found the really cute sponge pineapples on clearance at Bath & Body Works!

30th Anniversary Card

When I first saw the Blossoms in Bloom bundle I was not sure that it had enough variety for me!  Was I wrong!  I am really enjoying playing with the bundle and with both the stamp set and the dies alone.

I made this card just using the stamp set for my cousin and her husband's recent 30th Anniversary party!

I really wanted to make the flowers 2 different shades with the darker shade in the middle.  I did this by stamping the flowers with the lighter colour of ink and then adding the darker colour with a sponge dauber directly onto the stamped image.

Stamped the image directly onto the cardstock and you have a great image to start to add other stamped images to complete the card.
The leaves are 2 different colours to give them some depth. The greeting is stamped with Mango Melody ink on Daffodil Delight cardstock.

This is the inside of the card:
