It is almost October...fall is in the air! For my team swap this month I made a fall themed card using copper foil and our beautiful Leaf fall 3D Embossing Folder.
The greeting makes a great card for Thanksgiving which is celebrated on Monday, October 10th here in Canada.
My nephew recently celebrated his birthday and I am sharing the card that I made for him using the He's The Man Suite.
The Suite includes the He's All That bundle (#159079) stamp set and dies, He's The Man Specialty Designer Series Paper (#159068), and the Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots (#159082).
The interesting thing about the DSP is that there are 2 die-cut sheets with punch out pieces and some of them are added to this card.

A very dear friend of mine is celebrating a very special milestone birthday today! I know she is away with a few friends for a great birthday vacation. I am thinking of her today as she reaches this milestone. Happy Birthday to my dear friend! (You know who you are!)

I did some water colouring for this card, both the piece on the front and the piece that I stamped the inside greeting on were made using water colour paper, ink and water painter. You need to use the water painter first and add water to saturate the piece of paper. Then add ink with the water painter so that it seeps into the paper. You can have some parts darker and some parts lighter by adding more water.

The hippos are so cute and so easy to add to with all the different stamps and die cut pieces. For the inside I used one of the gift card holders in the coordinating new In Colour of Starry Sky from the May Paper Pumpkin kit Celebrating In Colour.
