PPP Blog Hop - Exploring In Colour

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!

The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as they were designed, or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild. On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas with you on how to use the May Paper Pumpkin kit "Exploring In Colour".

These are the original projects:

These are my alternate projects.
The supply list can be found near the bottom of my post.

For my alternate projects I cut one of the card bases in half and then cut the pieces down to 4" x 5-1/4". I used a Copper Clay card base for the first one and a Wild Wheat card base for the second card. I used supplies in the kit plus a few extras!

Thank you for joining us as we share with you the possibilities of Paper Pumpkin. Now hop over to my friend Debbi where you will find another great Paper Pumpkin alternate project idea. Follow the blog hop by clicking on the Pumpkin below.

Happy 60th Birthday to my sister

My sister celebrated her 60th birthday on the weekend and we were able to attend the party hosted by her husband.  I made this card for her using the retired Texture Chic Memories & More cards and envelopes.

I added a technique called "twisted ribbon" using different pieces of Designer Series Paper on the left front of the card.  The stamp set and dies are carried over into the new Annual Catalogue.

Orange Citrus Birthday Card

I am so happy that the Sweet Citrus stamp set and the coordinating Hybrid Embossing folder were carried over into the new Annual Catalogue.  Together they make such very cute cards.  You can choose the type of citrus fruit by your colour choice of paper and ink!

I made this card before some of the products retired (Designer Series Paper, Mango Melody) but it will still give you an idea of how you can make a cute book binding card.  I chose to make this a card of oranges!

The hybrid embossing folder can emboss and cut out the orange pieces all at the same time!  It really makes the orange sections look real.

Seaside Sympathy

I am sad that the Designer Series Paper that I used for this card was retired, but the stamp set has been carried over to our new Annual Catalogue!

I used this combination to make a sympathy card to send to a dear friend.  The Designer Series Paper has some really nice colour combinations and this seemed so calming for a sympathy card.

The greeting on both the front and the inside of the card are from the stamp set.
