On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas with you on how to use the June Paper Pumpkin kit "Expressions in Ink".

These are the original projects:

May 2021 Paper Pumpkin meets the United Through Diversity Digital Download

This week we celebrate Canada Day on July 1st and it is Canada's 154th birthday!

I wanted to make a card using this new download and found the best card bases in the May 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit (Batter Up!).

I downloaded the free download and then printed the pages I wanted onto Basic White cardstock.  I chose to colour my Maple Leaf with the Real Red Stampin' Blends Combo pack (Light and Dark) and then fussy cut it out.  I trimmed two of the digital download greetings for the front of the card.

The other supplies came from the May Paper Pumpkin kit!

I Scream, You Scream, We all Scream for Ice Cream!

It is finally summer   Perhaps we all need to think of having some Ice Cream to cool off!  This card uses Designer Series Paper and the Ice Cream bundle.

Reminds me of one of my favourite ice cream flavour that I don't get very often...Black Cherry!

I have used a retired colour of cardstock that happens to be one of my favourites...Purple Posy and the matching ribbon for the trim.

Elegantly Said Thank You

I recently took part in a Canadian Swap for the new Annual Catalogue.  As it happens early it is usually using only items that are on the pre-order list.  This card was one that I received (sorry I cannot find the name of the crafter) and I have made a few more as it is a simple card yet very elegant!

This card is using one of the New In Colours (Evening Evergreen) and the DSP is from the Annual Catalogue - Pansy Petals.  You could use this same layout with any DSP and a coordinating colour of cardstock and ink!

Trees using Beauty of the Earth DSP

I recently held an online card class and the theme was "Trees".  I used many of our retired sets to show my attendees how they can use sets they have with new Designer Series Paper.  The Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper is a treasure...the images on one side and the other side is muted colours and one has a bark pattern.

Here is one of my sample cards to show how little images can be used to make a card.  I made a Gate Fold Card using coordinating coloured cardstock and the small tree image from the DSP.

This is the inside when open.
