For the month of September 2024 the theme is "Family Celebrations". We are to create a card or 3D project important to or celebrated by our family. I hope you enjoy our project ideas.
I have chosen to make a card celebrating Thanksgiving. In Canada, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday in October. It is a National Public Holiday, that is a chance for people to give thanks for a good harvest and other fortunes in the past year.
Most people have the day off work and often use the three day weekend to visit family or friends who live far away. Many also prepare a special meal during the long weekend. Traditionally, this includes Roast Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, seasonal vegetables, such as pumpkin, corn and nuts. I have chosen to use the Changing Leaves Bundle.
