New Year's Eve - Feels Like Frost Box

Today is the last day of  2019.  I will be celebrating and welcoming 2020 before all of you as I am in Australia!  We have been here visiting with our son and daugther-in-law.

I wanted to share a box pattern that I found using the Feels Like Frost DSP.  The paper has become one of my favourites as I love the photos that are captured on this paper.  The bottom of the box slides in and out of the top.  Thanks to Karin de Latt for the design!

I used the new Ice Stampin Glitter to give the snowflakes alot of texture. This is how the box looks when you slide out the bottom part.

I found a tube of handcream that matched the colour of the DSP perfectly and added it to the gift!

First Frost Thank You

I made this Thank You card for a fellow demonstrator using the First Frost paper which I am sad to say is sold out.
The photographic imagery is just amazing and shows many different ways that frost affects items in nature.  It can be very beautiful to look at but not so great on the roads!

I used two colours of cardstock in the purple spectrum to coordinate with the image on the DSP .

Tropical Chic is the stamp set that I used for the Thank You sentiment. I liked the size and font.

Merry Christmas

Today is Christmas Eve and for many families it is the day they travel to be with loved ones.  Some celebrate on Christmas Eve and others celebrate tomorrow, Christmas Day.

Many photographs are taken during the holidays and I have made a project that you can keep your printed photos in to look back at the holiday season.  A photo album that will hold 24 - 5x7" (13x 18cm) photos.

I bought this at my local dollar store and took out the front and back cover, measured them and then cut cardstock the same size.  I left the back cardstock undecorated but decorated the front with ribbon and a sentiment.

Here is the front of the album:

  Here is the sentiment:

Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!

Mercury Glass Christmas

I wanted to use Mercury Glass Acetate on some of my Christmas cards this year and I found 2 different cards that I made using this great addition to our Holiday Catalogue.

This one also uses the Perfectly Plaid bundle that was made by Linda Dalke.  A simple card but with alot of beautiful details.

The pearl was coloured with the Seaside Spray blends and then attached to the left side of the punched greeting.
