Today is Halloween and later this evening we will welcome neighbourhood children as they go door to door shouting "Trick or Treat".
One of our grandchildren lives in another province so I sent him a Halloween package and treats earlier and our 2 grandaughters that live close will get theirs today. I made them all a little Halloween gift card to go with their treats.
One of the new style of cards that I have seen lately is a Kaleidoscope card. It has also been called a shutter card as it looks like the opening in old style box cameras. I chose to make one for the fall season using our amazing All About Autumn Designer Series Paper.
I love this pattern of DSP from the All About Autumn Designer Series Paper pack as the pumpkins and gourds look so real.
This is the inside where I used a small piece of the same piece of DSP along the bottom.
My daughter in law celebrates a birthday today and this is the card that I sent to her in the mail. I used the lovely new masks that are found in the Mini Catalogue and are great for many different seasons!
You can use many different colour combinations however I kept mine in fall themed colours. They are easy to use and you just lay them onto your cardstock and add the colour. You may want to use a piece of washi tape to hold the mask in place.

The Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper was one of the latest releases from the Online Exclusives! One side has beautiful floral images and the other has watercoloured designs.
Such beautiful colours that make a real statement on the front of this card. I found this Berry Burst colour ribbon in my ribbon stash...lucky me!
