PPP Blog Hop - Meaningful Flowers

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!

The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as they were designed, or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild. On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas with you on how to use the August Paper Pumpkin kit "Meaningful Flowers".

Card 1

For this card I used the stamp set to stamp the flower stem image on Basic White cardstock twice. I coloured it with the Tahitian Tide Stampin' Blends and added the centres with a Crushed Curry Stampin' Write Marker. The stems and leaves were coloured with a Garden Green Stampin' Write Marker. I fussy cut them out and added them to my doily. The sentiment is also from the stamp set.

Card 2

For this card I used mainly the kit supplies. I stamped a large and small Lily flower from the bonus stamp set onto Basic White using Melon Mambo ink. I coloured in the rest of the flowers with my Bubble Bath Stampin' Blends. The flower centres were coloured using the Crushed Curry Stampin' Write marker. I fussy cut them out and added them onto the card front (with vellum piece attached) with dimensionals. I added a piece of Bubble Bath ribbon at the top with a sliding knot.
