ICS Blog Hop - Fall Fun

Welcome to the Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop for September 2024!  This month our theme is
 "Fall Fun!"

We are showcasing projects that have a fall feel to them.

For my project I have created a 3D project that could be used as a table favour or as a fall gift for someone special.  We celebrate Thanksgiving on October 14th here in Canada and this would be a great decoration on the holiday table for each guest!

Here is my project:

This is the Book Treat Box that I had decorated by adding Designer Series Paper from the front all the way around to the back.  I also covered the fastener with the same Designer Series Paper and trimmed the corners with my snips.  I decorated the binding as shown below.

For the inside I added some treats and an Autumn gift card.

I decorated the front of the Book Treat Box by first adding some Metallic Enamel Effects with a palette knife and let it dry thoroughly.  The greetings are stamped onto the same DSP with Versamark and then Copper Metallic Embossing Powder.  I added the Woven Gold leaves and the stamped/die cut leaves plus a bow and some embellishments.

Happy Birthday with fruit!

One of our Online Exclusives is this great bundle that can help you create so many different types of cards.  Today I am sharing one that has peaches, strawberries, cherries and lemons!

I used the dies and coloured cardstock to make the fruit.  You could also die cut Basic White and then add the colour with blends, markers, or markers!

I added some dimension to the coloured cardstock fruit with my Stampin' Blends.

This is the inside, where you can write your own personal message.

IDEAS September 2024 - Family Celebrations

IDEAS is a group of International Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who share projects once a month.  This Blog Hop is an introduction to our IDEAS and we look forward to having you visit us monthly.

For the month of  September 2024 the theme is "Family Celebrations".  We are to create a card or 3D project important to or celebrated by our family.  I hope you enjoy our project ideas.

I have chosen to make a card celebrating Thanksgiving.  In Canada, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday in October.  It is a National Public Holiday, that is a chance for people to give thanks for a good harvest and other fortunes in the past year.

Most people have the day off work and often use the three day weekend to visit family or friends who live far away.  Many also prepare a special meal during the long weekend.  Traditionally, this includes Roast Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, seasonal vegetables, such as pumpkin, corn and nuts.  I have chosen to use the Changing Leaves Bundle.

This is a snippet photo of my project:
