Magolia Lane bundle

I think this suite called Magnolia Lane may be one that is extremely popular with those that love flowers.  The main image is quite large so one can colour it using many different techniques.  This suite has lots of coordinating products that we got to see at OnStage.  The magnolia is cut out with the coordinating die.

The focal part of this card (from Lynsay Mahon) is the flower which was coloured with our Stampin' Blends.

I am hosting a class using this suite on Saturday, June 29th.

Floral Essence Bundle

At OnStage we were introduced to this bundle called Floral Essence.  The DSP that matches with this suite is just amazing....looks like a painting instead of paper!
I think I could frame a piece of the DSP and put it up on the wall and no one would know that it wasn't a painting.
We used the coordinating vellum and stamped on it with ink...it takes a long time to dry before you can punch out the shape.  The twine comes in a bundle for another suite in the catalogue.

I think the flower centres are also very well suited to make a daisy flower and will be a popular item in the new catalogue.

Free As A Bird

The Bird Ballad Suite is going to be a popular one with everyone.  There are so many possibilities and it was one of the suites that the Paper Pumpkin,  Hugs by Shelli kit coordinated with.
The bundle of dies with this stamp set has one of the greatest sets of dies and I think you will love them for all of your projects. (It is not used in this sample but you will see lots of them in the future!)
They are the Stitched Nested Label Dies.

Again this was a suite we were introduced to at OnStage and it will prove to be very versatile for many of your projects.

Follow Your Art

The new Annual Catalogue goes live today, June 4th at noon (MT).  Here is a look at one of the new suites in the catalogue.
It is called the Follow Your Art Suite.  I have lots of ideas to use this set and bundle for future classes and cards.

This was one of the cards that we made at OnStage as we were introduced to the new catalogue.

Thank You

My daughter is a Sparks leader (Girl Guides of Canada) and wanted to express her thanks to those who helped with her unit this year.  At a special ceremony for those moving up to Brownies she presented her assistants with a small token of appreciation and asked me to create a card for her.

The timing was right when I received my May Paper Pumpkin kit "Sentimental Rose".  I dug out card stock that coordinated with the Sparks colours of pink and blue and found some retired DSP that had words of appreciation all over it.  I used some items that are retired and some that are retiring and this is what I came up with!

I stamped the rose image on white cardstock and then fussy cut it out with my snips.  The white background piece behind the rose was made by using some blushing bride ink on a sponge dauber, adding the green leaves and using my Stampin Write Markers in green and blue to make the little flicks of colour.
The twine is from an old Paper Pumpkin kit and the embellishments (Candy Dots) are retired but still in my drawer!

Paper Pumpkin subscriptions are increasing by a minimal amount starting in June.  So sign up now with a 6 or 12 month subscription to save you some $.

Let me know what you think of this project !  At least I know that someone is taking the time to read my blog!
