Translucent Florals 3

I took part in the great day long Stampin Up! event called "Creativity Now" a few weeks ago.

Today I am sharing one of the cards that we made as a group. The presenter showed us all the steps and we put our card together as we watched. This time they did a great job and showed the card twice from start to finish.

The stamp set used for this card is called Translucent Florals Bundle (#162253) and will be available in our new Mini catalogue that will be live on September 6th. If you would like a copy of this catalogue please contact me.

I used the Stampin' Blends to colour on the back of the vellum and then cut the flower petals and the leaf. The stamp set and coordinating dies will not be available until September 7th when the new Mini Catalogue goes live!

IDEAS Blog Hop - July 2023 - Brightest Glow

IDEAS is a group of International Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who share projects once a month. This Blog Hop is an introduction to our IDEAS and we look forward to having you visit us monthly.

Cheerful Daisies

Moody Mauve is one of my favourite New In Colours. For my card today I added Bubble Bath to the Moody Mauve for the daisies.

Here is the front of the card with the gold centres, made using the Gilded Leafing.

I used an embossing folder for the background white piece and cut the Moody Mauve die cut piece apart to put the leaves behind the greeting.

The inside has a piece of coordinating Designer Series Paper that matches the colours in the card front.

PPP Blog Hop - Welcome Inn

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!

The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as they were designed, or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild. On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas with you on how to use the June Paper Pumpkin kit "Welcome Inn".

These are my alternate projects.

For this alternate project I used the card front from the kit and cut it smaller so that it would fit into the embossing folder. I lined up the image with the embossing folder and put it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine. I love how the detail pops out! You could also use the Designer Series Paper if you want to save your card base. I have added a Boho Blue cardstock mat to the navy card base. I used the 2 pot negatives and added a small piece of Designer Series Paper to the backs and then fussy cut them out with my snips. The flowers and blue leaves are die cut using the add-on Welcome Inn Dies (#163192).

This alternate uses the Designer Series Paper, cardstock, the Welcome Inn Dies (#163192) and Stylish Shapes dies.
