My youngest grandaughter, Julia chose a "Luau" theme for her 3rd Birthday Party and again Grandma made her invitations. I made them in May for a June birthday party.
She told me that I needed to use her favourite colour "blue".
I decided to make my own pattern on cardboard and felt I needed to make it to fit into a regular sized envelope for ease in mailing. I also wanted to be able to print the party information on the inside so it needed to be a folded card.
This is what I came up with in 2 colour combinations:
I felt the front was too plain with not enought colour so added the heel in DSP. The flowers were inked up in Balmy Blue and then I added some Pacific Point on the edges with a sponge dauber. A little bit of Wink of Stella and rhinestone in the centre.finished them off!
