Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!

The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can follow the direction provided in the kit to make the projects as they were designed, or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild! On this hop we will share lots of ideas with you on how to use the May Paper Pumpkin kit "Sparkling Celebrations".

These are the original projects:

This kit has supplies to make 9 cards with matching envelopes. ( 3 of each card design). The coordinating colours are Blackberry Bliss, Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Hydrangea Hue, Melon Mambo, Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy, Pumpkin Pie, Black, and Silver foil. The Stampin Spot is Misty Moonlight. Also included are precut pieces to add to the front of the cards. The embellishments are Sparkly Silver dots. The cards and envelopes are made with bold colours that are great for celebratory cards, invitations, congratulations and special occasions.

My alternate card designs:

For my two alternate card projects I used a card base and cut it in half, and I also cut apart one of the envelopes. I then cut them down in size as I wanted to mat them and put them on a coordinating cardstock card base. I added both Gold Foil and Silver Foil as well as embossed greeting and embellishments.

Card 1

This is my gold colour alternate using the items in the kit (envelope, stamps) plus the special dies that coordinate with this month's kit.

Card 2

This is my silver colour alternate using the items in the kit (card base, precut piece, stamps) plus the special dies that coordinate with this month's kit.

I found out something that surprised me on this card as I first used Wink of Stella on the die cut fireworks but found that it didn't really show, but I added some more Wink of Stella and added Silver Embossing Powder and heated it! It was amazing!
