PPP Blog Hop - Fun in the Sun

Welcome to the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop!

The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as they were designed, or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild. On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas with you on how to use the July Paper Pumpkin kit "Fun In The Sun".

These are the original projects:

These are the envelopes that are included with the kit:

The front of the envelopes:

These are my alternate projects.

I took apart one of the envelopes and used some of the blue envelope to make the water a larger area. I also stamped the greeting on a piece of the envelope. The scene is all attached to a piece of Basic White. I used the piece with the palm trees from the kit and the small piece of sand at the bottom was also from the kit. Stamped the starfish and the greeting with Early Espresso ink. Embellished with Iridescent Rhinestones.

This card base and front mat are Pool Party cardstock. I used the negative of the beach umbrella and the front colour piece of the envelope to trace the shape and then cut out with my snips. The pole is a small narrow piece of Early Espresso. Other pieces are cut from the kit pieces. I used a Blending brush and added Basic Gray ink to the chair. The greeting is also stamped with Basic Gray. Embellished with Iridescent Rhinestones.

I made this scene with the inside of the envelope. The clouds were made using the negative of the clouds, some white craft ink and a sponge dauber. The lower sand is made with the negative, Crumb Cake ink and a blending brush. The birds were made with a black marker. The starfish are stamped with Early Espresso.

The supply lists can be found near the bottom of my post.

Thank you for joining us as we share with you the possibilities of Paper Pumpkin. Now hop through all the great Paper Pumpkin alternate project ideas.
